Another great initiative from BPC happened last Thursday.

Considering the weather, the time table was moved to 10 AM, a very smart move from the organizers.
We all enjoyed a beautiful sunny day of at least 2 hours of pickleball, with a friendly fierce competition from all participants.
Indeed, there is not another way to improve our game, than participating in events of this nature.
The self-control to face our best competitor…ourselves. That adrenaline-induced desire to -smack the ball, when the right move should be a gentile touch to win the play…this is the real challenge of the game…this wonderful game that is pickle ball.
Paddles up my friends! On October 24th we will have another opportunity for the 3.0 and 3.5 and on the 26th for the 2.0 2.5 players.

The ground breaking 1973 Battle of the Sexes between Billie Jean King and Bobby Riggs has inspired a PICKLEBALL Battle of the Sexes. #1 singles players Scott Moore and Simone Jardim go head to head in a historic battle held at the Bobby Riggs Tennis Club and Museum in Encinitas, CA. Not only is this a unique pro vs pro pickleball Battle of the Sexes, it is also a part of a larger event for charity and will be televised live on Pay Per View.
