Indoor Evening Pickleball Play!
From Paula Ekins of Boise Parks & Recreation:
Please help us spread that word that Pickleball will be offered in cooperation with Boise School District and Boise Parks and Recreation on Tuesday evenings starting next week.
We are VERY fortunate to have found a facility that allows us to offer evening hours.
As we all know gym space is limited but hopefully some of that can be alleviated if the upcoming school district bond is passed as it will allow for various new gym sites to be built throughout Boise.

There are now over twenty dual use pickleball courts in the Boise + Meridian area.
And there are still some wonderful fall weather days ahead to play outside.
Pick your court and call your pickleball friends…
Download the map.
Victory Middle School located in Meridian, 920 West Kodiak Dr, has
six (6) new dual use courts. Both Tennis and Pickleball lines have
been painted on what appears to be monolithic rubber shock pad surface
using Electronic Technology. Please call 208-350-4443 for access to
the courts. More courts, more players, PB is surging forward in
Just got a note that there are even MORE places to play pickleball!
There are four courts at the junior tennis complex at Ann Morrison Park off 9th Street at the Pizza Hut entrance.
These courts have been taped for pickleball use!
The net height is the same as pickleball use, so no adjustment is needed.
And, the fenced area is much smaller than playing on a regularly sized tennis court, so you won’t spend as much time chasing balls. 🙂
These courts are available starting August 1 and will be a great place to practice for the upcoming Idaho Senior Games!
PS Special thanks to Paula Ekins from Boise Parks and Recreation for helping promote pickleball!
