So we had a great round robin yesterday at Manitou. A total of 24 players and good competition! Thanks to all of you who participated. It was a well-run tournament, a good format which from the feedback I got everybody seemed to like, and more importantly, I think everybody had lots of fun! Also, for the first time we had three playoffs. More about that later. A very special thank you to Tom Wolney for organizing and running the tournament and also to Paul Berriochoa for his assistance. They both did an outstanding job!
So players played eight games to 11, win by one. Time limit was 12 minutes. All went well. At the end of eight games, the top four men and women players had a playoff. It was so fun to watch and see how pickleball really is played.So then, we decided to have a third playoff in which the women’s winning team played against the men’s winning team. So very exciting! So those results are as follows:

- Men: Josh Howard/Kurt Simpson defeated Howard Foreman/Gary McMillan

CONGRATULATIONS to all the players who made it to the playoffs! It was so fun to watch! And I just have to say a HUGE CONGRATULATIONS to Wendi and Yai for their win over the men! Yay! Way to go! We are so proud of you!
