Gold Hat Trick!

Dick with Mixed Doubles Partner Jane McKesson of Colorado

July was an amazing month for Dick & Lawana Johnson as they represented Idaho & Arizona in two of the biggest and most important national amateur sporting events in the country.

In July, Dick won two bronze medals in the National Senior Games in Minneapolis.

Dick recently followed up with three gold medals in Singles, Men’s Doubles, & Mixed Doubles in the National State Games of America in Omaha.

Dick with Men’s Doubles Partner Paul Hoggatt of Arizona

Dick was the first and only Idahoan to ever medal in Pickleball at either of these national events. His two Bronze medals at the National Senior Games were two of only 15 medals in all sports won by Idahoans.

And, he was the only pickleball player from any state to win three Golds at the National State Games of America!

Congratulations for a job well done!
