Eagle Rock Park Public Meeting – Please Attend! 6:30 PM Wed, July 6

The city is considering building 6 dedicated pickleball courts at Eagle Rock Park. A public meeting will be held at 6:30 PM this Wednesday, July 6, at the park. If enough people at the meeting are in favor, they will build the courts. Therefore, I am asking every member of our club, regardless of where you live, to attend this meeting if you can.

This may be our only chance to get any more courts in Boise for at least 2 or 3 years. More courts are desperately needed, and will help relieve court congestion everywhere, no matter where you live. Coming to this meeting is the most important thing you can do this year to help solve this problem, so please make plans to be there.

Directions to Eagle Rock — Go down Warm Springs, turn on Old Penitentiary Road, go about a quarter mile and turn left at the roundabout where there is a sign pointing left saying “Old Penitentiary District Parking.” There will be a large dirt parking lot on the left, and an even larger one a bit further. Park there and then walk across the field to the tennis courts and the picnic pavilion. The meeting will start at 6:30 at the pavilion.

This is very important. I hope you can be there to help the club, and to help yourself!

Thanks,

Chris Clougherty, President
